TE's VR cable assemblies provide a reliable platform design solution that can be tailored to meet the diverse application needs of VR solution providers, helping them get to market faster. TE can provide not only complete cable assemblies and high-speed sockets, but also plug modules for customers who purchase cables from other suppliers. The component's compact socket saves valuable printed circuit board (PCB) space in the headset, and a balanced amplifier is used in the connector to allow longer cable lengths for longer cable lengths while reducing cable weight.
TE's VR cable assemblies are designed for VR applications and are proven to transmit signals without interruption. The product uses an HDMI 1.4 connector and a USB 3.0 connector, as well as an optional DC power supply for data transfer rates up to 8 Gbps. High-speed I/O sockets can also support higher data transfer rates (up to 40 Gbps) for future product upgrades. TE's comprehensive R&D engineering capabilities and application knowledge enable engineers to work together to design custom solutions while minimizing costs with common components.
