Small DC motor removal steps

Before disassembling the DC motor, use the instrument to check the whole machine to determine whether the winding is grounded to the ground and whether there is any short circuit, open circuit or other fault between the windings. And reset the mark on the line head, end cover, brush holder, etc., and do the side split, side check, and record. The parts of the motor should not be damaged during disassembly.

The removal steps are as follows:

(1) Remove the wiring of the DC motor.

(2) Remove the end cap screws and bearing cap screws of the commutator and remove the bearing cover.

(3) Open the ventilation window of the end cover, take out the brush from the brush holder, and then remove the connecting wire connected to the brush bar.

(4) When removing the end cover of the commutator, put a wooden wedge on the edge of the end cover, and evenly tap the edge of the end cover with a hammer, gradually remove the end cover from the base and the bearing outer ring, and take out the brush holder. .

(5) Wrap the commutator to avoid soiling and bumping.

(6) Remove the end cap screw of the protruding end of the shaft and carefully pull out the armature of the end cap from the stator to avoid scratching the winding.

(7) Place the armature with the end cover on the wooden frame and wrap it, remove the bearing cap screws at the bearing end, and remove the bearing cover and end cover. If the bearing is not damaged, it may not be disassembled.

The assembly of the DC motor operates in the reverse order of disassembly.
