According to reports, the chips announced by the Horizon team include a "Journey 1.0" processor for smart driving and a "Sunburst 1.0" processor for smart cameras. This kind of chip is completely researched and developed independently by the Chinese enterprise, has the characteristic such as high performance, low power consumption, low delay,etc., can be embedded in the terminal apparatus directly.

The "Journey 1.0" processor has the processing capability of accurately detecting and recognizing pedestrians, motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, traffic signs and other types of targets in real time. The smart driving platform developed based on this chip supports the detection of 260 traffic signs. The recognition accuracy of traffic lights in the traffic lights, current lanes and adjacent lanes is greater than 95%.

The "Sunburst 1.0" processor has the ability to perform large-scale face recognition detection and tracking and video structuring at the front end, and can be applied to scenarios such as smart cities and smart businesses. The face capture recognition system combined with this chip can capture up to 120 human faces in a single frame and consume only 1.5 watts.
