In the pilot application process, Chengdu actively explored LED lighting contract energy management (EMC), clean development mechanism (CDM) and other application models to find effective ways to promote the application of LED products. Among them, the pilot city of tunnel lighting was selected to carry out the contract energy management mode pilot project, and the implementation plan for the transformation of 3000 high-pressure sodium lamps and fluorescent lamps in 11 underpass tunnels such as Dongchenggen Street was formulated. The Xinjin County road lighting energy-saving renovation project adopts a combination of EMC and CDM.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary-General Qi Jun introduced the development of domestic and foreign industries to the participants, pointed out the stage of industrial development and the problems of testing, standards and patents that should be solved. At the same time, industry experts and key enterprise representatives and research groups also discussed the problems and solutions in the semiconductor lighting industry and enterprise development. Representatives of participating companies believed that the current lack of talents in industrial development is an important issue.
