1. The industrial computer has a long working time. Due to the needs of normal production, the industrial control system of some factories needs to work for a long time, which brings great test to the industrial computer operating system. According to Microsoft's operating system runtime report, Microsoft claims that its operating system after Windows 2000 can support long-term work, but from the actual operation, after running for more than one week, the disk will accumulate a large amount of data during the huge data exchange process. Fragmentation can easily cause bad sectors of the disk, read and write errors, and slow system running and startup. Therefore, the industrial computer can restart the industrial computer and disk defragmentation regularly when production permits, to reduce disk errors caused by long-term work. The restart time can be determined according to the amount of data processed by the industrial computer and the production situation. It is not rigid and requires the reader to slowly explore it. 2. The internal temperature of the industrial computer is too high. In an environment where long-term high-temperature operation is required, the components of the computer are prone to aging and the frequency of hard disk failure is also increased. This requires the CNC cutting machine operator of the factory, pay close attention to the temperature of the chassis, try to keep the temperature of the industrial computer between 10-30 degrees Celsius, too high or too low temperature is not suitable for the protection of the hard disk, if the chassis temperature reaches At 30 degrees Celsius, the internal hard drive temperature will reach 40 degrees or higher. We can simply modify our industrial computer to reduce the ambient temperature.
(1) Replace the high-power CPU and the hard disk fan (the hard disk fan should be fixed and should not be installed on the hard disk firmware holder to prevent the hard disk from vibrating due to the fan rotation) to speed up the heat dissipation.
(2) Add a fan that draws air to the outside of the chassis to increase air convection;
(3) Install a small axial flow fan on the cabinet where the industrial computer is placed;
(4) Install air conditioning in the control room to reduce the space temperature.
3. The environmental humidity is not suitable. The industrial computer is mainly composed of an integrated circuit of many electronic components, and its insulation performance has a great relationship with the environmental humidity. If the humidity is too large, it will easily cause the circuit board to be short-circuited and burned; if the humidity is too small, it will easily generate static electricity and will also break down some electronic components. Therefore, if the humidity is too large or too small, it will pose a potential threat to the industrial computer. Electrostatic protection requires us to have a good grounding on the industrial computer. It is worth noting that the grounding of the industrial computer is different from the lightning protection grounding on the civil construction. The grounding pole should be located three meters away from the control outside, and the galvanized angle steel should be used as the vertical grounding pole at the grounding level of 1700mm outside the ground. Meet the grounding resistance less than 1 ohm (applying the shaker test when backfilling), and then use 40×40×4 galvanized flat steel to reliably weld with the grounding body (each solder joint must be carefully rust-proofed), and then distributed to the building. Replace the 25mm copper cable to the ground terminal of the system and the grounding point of the industrial computer. This can effectively reduce the harm caused by static electricity.
4, the ground is strong. In the production of mechanical manufacturing plants, due to physical displacement actions such as dragging and vibration, not only does it bring huge noise, but the vibration brought by the equipment work will bring huge damage to the industrial computer disk, optical drive and floppy drive. In the large amount of data exchange in the automatic control system, the disk that runs for a long time and at a high speed is easily shaken by the vibration transmitted to the disk, resulting in a decrease in the read and write capability of the disk, a slow positioning of the magnetic head, and even damage to the disk, thereby reducing the environmental vibration of the industrial computer. It is good for protecting the disk. We can keep the IPC as far as possible from the focal point of the work site during engineering design. If the work location cannot be changed, we can also place a sponge under the industrial control cabinet and the cabinet to cushion the object to reduce the vibration. Hazard.
5. There are many respirable particles in the air. Most of the raw materials of many factories require powder processing, and the external air flow is large and the dust is much. The industrial control machine is easy to accumulate a large amount of sticky dust, which causes the local temperature in the industrial computer to be too high, resulting in hardware damage. This situation occurs mostly around the cooling fan such as the CPU, power supply, hard disk, and graphics card. Where dust is light, regular dust blowing can be used if normal production permits. Where dust is more serious, filter gauze can be placed in the air-permeable part of the industrial control cabinet and cleaned regularly.
6, the power supply voltage fluctuations, easy to power off. With the rapid development of industry and life, the demand for electricity is also increasing. In many areas, there are insufficient power supply, unstable voltage, and easy power outages. The voltage is unstable and the power is suddenly turned off, causing the system to restart frequently. The system file is also easy to be lost and cannot be started normally. The head that is performing the read/write action sometimes causes the head of the computer to fail due to the power failure. Therefore, the stability of the power supply of the industrial computer working environment is related to whether the industrial computer works normally or not. We can use the regulated power supply and the UPS uninterruptible power supply for protection. The specific equipment selection depends on the load power and the number of working hours.
