LED-based lighting manufacturer RL has received further financing that will enable it to target the architectural lighting market. Renaissance Lighting (RL) has completed a $10 million round of financing led by the Altira Group, a venture capital firm based in Denver, CO.
The funding will be used to grow RL's portfolio of solid-state lighting products and expand sales, marketing and operations.
Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, RL was founded in 2005 to develop and market its patented Constructive Occlusion? optics to deliver the advantages of LED light sources to the architectural lighting market.
