Circuit Operation Principle The electronic snubber circuit consists of a power supply circuit, a voice control circuit, and an electrical pulse generation circuit, as shown in Figure 9-147.
The power circuit is composed of a battery GB, a power switch S, and a filter capacitor C4.
The voice control circuit is composed of a microphone BM, resistors Rl-R4, capacitors Cl, C2 and a transistor V.
The electric pulse generating circuit is composed of an IC (Y976), a resistor R5, a potentiometer RP1-RP3, capacitors C3, C5, a pulse transformer T, and electrodes a, b.
Turn on the power switch S, GB 3V DC voltage is filtered by C4, one channel is directly supplied to the IC, and the other channel is used as the working power of the voice control circuit after R4 current limit.
When the user is not snoring, the IC's l-pin has no modulated signal output, and no pulse voltage is generated across the electrodes a and b. When the user is snoring, the BM converts the click signal into an electrical signal, and after the nuclear power signal is subjected to V amplification and IC internal circuit modulation processing, the modulated audio signal is output from the IC pin l. After the T-transformation of the modulated audio signal, a pulse voltage is generated on the winding W2 of the T, and the pulse voltage is used to stimulate the snoring person to change the sleeping position and correct the bad sleep habit.
Adjusting the resistance of RPl can change the sensitivity of the voice control.
Adjusting the resistance of RP2 can change the frequency of the modulated audio signal of the IC's l-pin output.
Adjusting the resistance of RP3 can change the intensity of the electrical pulse.
Component selection
Rl-R5 uses 1/4W metal film resistor or carbon film resistor.
RPl and RP2 use small solid potentiometers or variable resistors; RP3 uses a small synthetic carbon film potentiometer with switch (power switch S).
Cl-C3 selects monolithic capacitors; C4 and C5 select aluminum electrolytic capacitors with a withstand voltage of 6.3V or higher.
V selects S9014 or 3DM type NPN transistor.
T is replaced by a step-up transformer of a money detector or a small emergency fluorescent lamp.
