South Korea recently announced the new Electronic Product Safety Control Operating Scheme, which replaced the Electrical Product Safety Approval Operating Scheme from January 1, 2009.
The main change in the new specification is that electrical products are divided into two categories, namely "products that require safety verification" and "products that manufacturers can self-safety confirmation".
