The U.S. Department of Energy released a report on the Philips LED lamp it tested. The lighting provided by this LED lamp is equivalent to a 60-watt retrofit lamp, and it works without failure for more than 20,000 hours.
According to the report, 200 samples of Philips are still running after 20,000 hours of operation. The initial output luminous flux maintenance rate is maintained at an average of more than 100%, and the ambient temperature for testing is maintained at 45 ° C. According to the test results, the Department of Energy believes that the lamp can provide trouble-free lighting for ordinary households for more than 18 years.
