2. Serious mechanical wear and shortened service life
Since the escalator adopts the direct start mode, it usually runs for more than eight hours every day. The escalator always maintains high speed operation with or without passengers, and its mechanical wear is relatively large. The life of an escalator is generally around ten years. After the age, the wear of the main components is quite serious. It is necessary to replace a large number of main components or simply update the entire ladder to continue service.
3, the failure rate is high, resulting in high cost of use
Since the escalator keeps running at full speed for a long time, the handrails, comb plates, steps and other components wear quickly. In addition to the large cost of replacing the parts, the increased wear gap often causes the escalator to malfunction and stops or causes malfunction. Hidden dangers and accidents are very troublesome for users, passengers and escalator maintenance units.
Second, the escalator intelligent energy-saving principle
In summary, the defects of ordinary escalators are very obvious. This is also an important basis for the relevant government departments to issue escalator energy-saving renovation policies, even grant subsidies for reform, promote energy conservation and consumption reduction, and improve equipment operation efficiency. To solve the defects of the ordinary escalator, only through the intelligent energy-saving transformation of the existing ordinary escalator, can quickly upgrade the grade of the escalator, greatly reduce power consumption, extend the service life of the equipment, and achieve the desired effect. The specific implementation scheme is as follows:
1. Install infrared sensors at appropriate positions on the upper and lower entrances of the escalator to collect signals from people on the ladder within 2 meters. When the two escalators exchange operation mode, the infrared sensor signal at the exit is automatically disconnected, and the detection signal at the entrance is always valid.
2. Energy-saving running time control is: When the passenger approaches the detection range of the inlet sensor, it is estimated that it takes about 1-2 seconds for the passenger to go to the escalator. During this time, the inverter will slow down from 15Hz. The state is accelerated to a normal operating speed of 50 Hz. To ensure safety, the passengers complete the acceleration before they step on the escalator. The running time of passengers standing on the escalator is about 20 to 30 seconds (determined by the length of the escalator). When the passenger leaves, it will automatically delay (set) for 2~3 seconds. When the entrance sensor detects no one to ride again, the inverter will decelerate to 15Hz. During the escalator manned operation, if there is a continuous ride, the inverter will automatically refresh the time for 20 to 30 seconds to maintain the normal running speed until the last passenger leaves, and then delay and then slow down.
3. When the escalator is running downwards, the motor enters the regenerative power generation state. The more the passenger load, the greater the regenerative energy generated. At this time, the two escalators (with the escalator) can be connected to the DC bus type. Make full use of the regenerative energy generated by the down escalator to supply the escalator, without energy waste. Considering that in some rare cases, there is also the possibility that the escalator will run alone. At this time, the energy consumption can be used to release the regenerative energy, and the braking resistor of a certain power and resistance can be connected in series with the specified port of the inverter.
4. When emergency stop for some reason, the inverter increases the electromagnetic brake to ensure safety.
5. When the escalator is overhauled, the running frequency can be set at 25Hz, so as to facilitate the inspection and observation of the movement of the escalator mechanism, and avoid the shortage of the original system's rated speed to stop untimely.
6. The transformation plan completely retains the original operation mode of the escalator. The switch is designed. When the inverter is overhauled or faulty, the inverter control circuit is completely withdrawn from the control system and does not affect normal use. It is guaranteed to operate in any operating mode in accordance with the requirements of the national GB-16899 safety standard for escalator elevators.
