The polymer capacitor is a chip-type laminated aluminum electrolytic capacitor using a high-conductivity polymer material as a cathode, and has superior electrical properties beyond the existing liquid-plate aluminum electrolytic capacitors and solid-plate tantalum electrolytic capacitors. The polymer capacitor is within the rated voltage range and does not require step-down. It has an extremely low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and is capable of reducing ripple voltage, allowing for greater ripple current. At high frequencies, the polymer chip laminated aluminum electrolytic capacitor exhibits an approximately ideal capacitor characteristic. The capacitance is very stable in the case of frequency changes. These capacitors are mainly used in motherboard (laptop, flat panel display, digital switch) bypass decoupling / energy storage filter capacitors, switching power supplies, DC / DC converters, high frequency noise suppression circuits and portable electronic devices. 
In the world, only a few of Panasonic, Ruby, and Jimei produce such capacitors. At present, there are only PA-CAP polymer laminated aluminum electrolytic capacitors produced by Guoguang.
