Burberry CEO Jumps Apple

The latest report, Apple announced on Monday that they have hired Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts as Apple's senior vice president of retail operations. She will report directly to company CEO Tim Cook. She is the first choice among Apple's candidates for this position.

"I'm very proud to be in Apple's new position next year, and I look forward to working with Apple's global team to further enrich the consumer experience." Angela Ahrendts said in a statement, "I've always been Appreciating Apple's innovative products and services has brought a very rich influence on people's lives. I also hope that through my efforts, we can help the company continue to achieve greater success and continue to change the world."

Apple has seen vacancies in key positions in recent years. Since the end of 2011, when Ron Johnson, known as the "Father of Apple Store," left Apple, the senior vice president of Apple's retail business changed two people within two years and is currently in a vacant state.

Angela Ahrendts was born in Indiana, USA and her mother was a model. Angela Ahrendts moved to New York after graduating from Ball State University where he quickly got promoted. From 1998 to 2006, she served as executive vice president of Henri Bendel, president of Donna Karan, and executive vice president of Liz Claiborne. Since July 2006 has been Burberry CEO.

Apple and Burberry had worked together in September of this year. Burberry’s fashion show was shot on iPhone 5s at London Fashion Week.
